Meaningful. Beautiful. Local.

At Olida Architecture, we are about finding the "why" to your project. By merging the practical with the imaginative, we transform everyday spaces into places that both inspire and connect.

Meaningful.

We are passionate about creating imaginative yet practical design solutions that are tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring every project feels personal and distinctive.  Beyond a strong client focus, successful architecture must be site-specific and sustainable,  responding thoughtfully to the local context through materiality, scale, and a celebration of natural light.

Beautiful.

Olivia Fung, founder of Olida Architecture, has built her career in Edmonton’s design and construction industry as both a designer and project architect with well-recognized firms across the city. Before establishing Olida, she served as a Principal in Business Development, where she gained a deep understanding of client needs in the private sector, market opportunities of the residential/commercial world, and project feasibility during the onset of development—insights that now shape her design approach from the earliest stages.

Her work blends strategic foresight with creative vision, solving practical challenges through thoughtful, well-coordinated design. Olivia’s ultimate goal for every project is to create beautiful, inspiring spaces that foster connection and bring communities together.

She is a registered architect with the Alberta Association of Architects and holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba.

The relationships we build are first and foremost, most important to us.  We believe in a collaborative process and work actively with all stakeholders and team members to provide creative and unique solutions that are best suited for the project.  Olivia has been actively involved in her community, volunteering her time to several Chinatown organizations such as the Freemasons Society, Multicultural Center and the Chinatown Transformative Collective. She has also devoted her time to local industry organizations such as co-hosting the Infill Development for Edmonton Association podcast, emceeing for the annual SHIFT conference with Edmonton Construction Assocation, and guest critiquing design studios at the University of Alberta, University of Manitoba and NAIT.   Currently, Olivia sits on the Board for the Edmonton International Film Festival and is full time member of CREW.
